New Fine Art Landscape Photography Images Published 2-2-2010
February 2nd, 2010 by Dan CarmichaelFour new fine art landscape photographs have been published in the gallery. The four fine art images include both abstract and paintography styles. Paintography is a photograph that is digitally hand-painted to give it a unique, painterly style. The two paintography images are offered as limited edition prints with a limit of 25 prints per print size.
My favorite is Deadwood Dunes:
I have taken many pictures of this driftwood bush and the sand dune over a two year period (here’s one). Night shots, day shots, sunrise and sunset. It has been interesting to watch this scene change. This image was captured about two years ago. The driftwood bush no longer exists as it stood here. The sand dune, blown by the wind, has drifted and now surrounds and has consumed the driftwood bush. You can now see only the very tips of the bush sticking out the top of the dune.
This is a paintography image. The photograph has been digitally hand (manually) painted to produce this fine art image. Large prints look great on a high quality fine art matte surface paper. This is a limited edition print with a limit of 25 prints per size available.
The piece also is available in a black and white:
The next fine art photography image is King of Dunes:
This image was captured on the Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. I have always thought this dune looks majestic – wearing a crown of sea oats superimposed against a cloudy – blue sky. Renderd in a slightly abstract style.
The fine art black and white version:
The images are available for purchase in the gallery. As always, all prints are on high quality fine arts media.
